The Private Segmented education board is an enigma and so complex that people are impotent and unable to trace the truth behind it. Following are some authenticated and sterling points to reject private segmented education board:
• The basic education is the fundamental necessity of each individual living in the state. So state is responsible for providing the uniform education to all, not the private segments. If state is not fulfilling its responsibility, private sectors instead of opening new boards, and start earning should create pressure on the state to fulfill the responsibility.
• With shadow of no doubt governmental educational boards in Karachi are spoiled, are totally failed to provide quality education, educational boards are under merit, bribery is common but it can't create propriety to establish a new board but to improve the performance and quality of present boards.
• There were some clamorous voices that 'Private Segmented education board is for the betterment of education system”, although we know that it promote the basic disease in our educational system that is to enlarge classes and to distribute the students into different classes of education, which is not good for Pakistan.
• As it promotes different classes of education therefore it will develop a sense of deprival to those who can't afford private segmented education board.
• By the establishment of segmented education board, the performances of present boards would become more vicious and wicked, as it seems to be in colleges that government colleges are failed to provide quality education and students are running before private teachers. The alternative of private tuitions instead of college lectures had made the mess of colleges today in Karachi.
• The environment plays a great role for the production of nation specially the educational environment but unfortunately we still have no educational environment however after the establishment of Private Segmented education board, a materialistic environment will be created.
In the lights of above technical and general facts private segmented education board is an open corpse of the education system. At basic level education should be provided to all uniformly and after that for specialization in various fields it can be distributed in to various segments, but the very basic education should be there for all with quality. The trend of private boards and education schemes will worsen the situation because the basic quality education then has to be bought for, which can’t be for many individuals. So there is no open environment for all to grow and to learn. We need to make such education environment where all can flourish.
