I will not teach you any tricks of the trade in this article, for the weight of the overwhelmingly vast repertoire in existence would crumble this website if I used the coming four years to write it all down. Instead, I will teach you how to learn before your mistakes and survive using the tiniest and most unnoticeable resources.
There are three key elements in surviving an assault and fulfilling your own attacks. These are, in increasing importance: coordination, awareness of mind and utilization of the environment. Before I consecutively cover these three elements, I need to clarify one thing: my goal is to always survive, thus I rarely venture on suicide missions. But as my knowledge and awareness of the Tibian world grows larger and more complex, the gloomy ring of 'suicide missions' begins to lose its power, and 'impossible' seems to be a highly exaggerated word. I am beginning to see that everywhere there are resources that will help me survive.
Coordination
You will hunt your victims in pairs of two, possibly but not preferably more, if you do not necessarily need more power. Your first rule is that you won't stop helping each other survive until you both can logout, step into a protection zone, or if you know that both of you will survive.
Your strength is your cooperation. Two well-coordinated players that have a clearly determined goal strikes fear in many high levels hearts, and if you execute your attacks smoothly and quickly, trust that many people will be so initially shocked by the rapidity and brutality that they fall before they even have time to heal once. If a victim fights back, to not back down or show the slightest sign of weakness, for then the target will regain hope. Execute your spells and attacks simultaneously, and plan every move. Develop your own tricks to fool your victims.
You must learn the precise strength your character has, regardless of vocation, so that you know how much damage you will deal with each of your attacks.
It is irrelevant how you communicate, but make sure you can openly speak to each other (either in programs such as ventrilo or similar, or more preferably in real life). When me and my brother perfected our own PvP skill, we always sat beside each other and executed the slighest move so coordinately it rung of exactitude. We never spoke in-game, and this too is a factor that scares an opponent (these two are perfectly synchronized and obviously very skilled... and they do not even have to talk in order to colligate their moves).
Awareness of mind
It so happens that when you are either attacked or attack someone, your heart begins to pump harder and you become frightened to die and lose oh so much. This does happen, but you need to control it. You will be prepared for the moment when this happens, and you will survive it because you have practised. As soon as you can relinquish the phony fear your body pumps out seemingly only to numb your senses and make you slower, you will be twice as deadly as before. This is imperative in order to utilize your environments to precise your attacks and escape your enemies.
Utilize your environment
This is the ace up your sleeve. Again, here's an anecdote from me and my brother: we learned how to escape in any town on the map of Tibia before we even started to hunt our victims. We learned the map so well, that we could escape practically anywhere if we so wished. If killing one target was our goal, then we did that and nothing else. We downed him as quickly as possible, hid the loot which we could not carry and escaped along one of our many routes.
Magic wall runes are going to be the most useful rune in escaping, and you need to have at least one person who is able to shoot them. If both can, you can practically loose pz in any town, regardless how many people chase you.
Whenever you move around the map, you need to look for places where you can trap people, hinder them from ganging up on you, disable their defence, or block completely from reaching you. Using magic walls and fire bombs this can be achieved virtually anywhere there are walls or inanimate, blocking objects. Constantly scan your surroundings for narrow places where a single magic wall will give you head start. Then bear in mind this: when an entire team of enemies chase you, the strongest of them will often get eager to reach you first (why? he think he's invulnerable together with his team and that you are afraid of him). He will be a little way ahead of the pack, so if you stay at a strategic position and hurl a timed magic wall he will suddenly be trapped on your side, unable to move and unable to get help from his friends. If you are sorcerers you will down any other mage this way. Suck his mana shield with sudden death runes and then double UE at the exact time once his shield is gone. He will drop. Take his loot, hide it under a tree or wherever suits you, magically block the rest of the chasing enemies and continue your flight knowing you have greatly vexed and stymied their assembly.
If you stay at narrow parts of the map and await your enemies, and as soon as they come you magic wall, the 15 minutes of pz will quickly disappear. Keep an eye on the clock, and once the 15 minutes have passed it's time to utilize a wonderful trick to loose pz and allow you inside a depot or other safe house. One of you must use a spell or ring to turn invisible and stop shooting magic walls (he wants to lose fight), while the other person shoots magic walls and blocks every narrow place. After one minute, the first person will lose his pz block. Then you switch positions, and repeat the procedure. You will both have fight at this point, but you will not be pz locked - waltz to the nearest safe house and you are victorious.
By this I hope I have sparked a lust to learn more. Practise, learn and utilize every chance you get, and you will soon become both skilled and feared. I have accounted for but a fraction of a miniscule grain of the techniques and secrets there is to use. Learn and exploit as many as you wish.
Good luck becoming best.
