    Marquee Tags:

Programming codes in HTML are mainly composed of an element called Tags. Text scrolling and image scrolling in web pages are created using Marquee Tags. We can see the text scrolling in web pages that are mainly created for giving news and customer service. Scrolling can happen in either direction, both horizontally and vertically, and the speed can also be varied by giving attribute values accordingly. We can also vary the text color, background color, associate an image with the text, and provide blinking effects by assigning values to the attributes used in the programming code. We shall see an example of a Marquee Tag and the different attributes that can be assigned to the same:

    WORLDSTART

We shall see an example for a scrolling image as below:

    Adding Background Images:

We can add Background Images to web pages. The following snippet shows the same:

We can align the background images as we feel appropriate for the web page display. The image can be displayed only at the center or take the entire web page display as we see in the image above. The Body Tag makes the content of the HTML page and the formatting done here mostly makes the web page display as good as possible.
