    Every one in a relationship is looking for ways to make a difference in their relationships regardless of how long they have been married/together. But the main power of transforming your relationship solely relies on you. You have the capacity and power in you to make your relationship successful and full of life for as long as you want.

    1. Focus your main attention to what you want: This principle not only applies to relationships, but also in every other area of your life. Focusing on what you want allows you to use/channel your energy in the right way, at the right time and for the right reasons enabling you to achieve what you want with ease. Focusing on what you don’t want will in turn cause you to direct your energy on the things you don’t want and will in turn give you results and that will be, what you don’t want. Remember these powerful words from Wayne Dyer, that 'What you can conceive of as a picture in your mind, you can create in the physical world, provided you do not let go of the picture.'

    2. Be Thankful: Gratitude is life giving. It displays a sense of confidence and also helps you to attract love from all angles. Try it! Tell someone how good they look, or just say” thank you” after a good gesture or service. You will be amazed at how you will impart life on the other person. You will also have a sense of confidence. When you are thankful, it makes it easier for you to believe that its possible for you to have what you want. Its an in- direct way of affirmation. “In everything give thanks” These words from the bible are meant to create a mind of faith. Be thankful even for what you may not have right now, though you can already see it in your mind. That positive energy illuminating from you does not go out in vain. It will bring back rewards.

    3. Be the change you want to see: Mahatma Gandhi understood the law that comes with life when he described change. It is important for you to understand that you cannot impose your will on another person; neither can you have control over them. If you want to be respected, you will have to sow respect yourself by respecting other people. If you want to feel appreciated in your relationship, initiate that by appreciating your partner. This will in turn redirect that energy back towards you.

    4. Let go of skepticism:

    In the same way you disregard a movie that you don’t find interesting, let go and completely disregard any false belief that you can’t have a happy relationship. Allow your mind to be filled with exciting thoughts of what you consider to be a happy relationship and get excited. Allow your body to experience that feeling. In turn you will begin to express these feelings and other people will be attracted to you. It will help you implement your feelings by actions.

    5. Keep advancing and gaining knowledge: With technology and the internet having spread almost everywhere, its wise to choose to gain more knowledge on issues about love, life , wealth and your whole being. You can find information about almost anything under the sun on the internet and information is growing every day. Statistics show that knowledge and information is expanding every 12 months compared to years before where it took over 24 months. Learn from the experiences of others, and you will learn what you can do to improve your relationship and also learn to be thankful for what you have. Peoples experiences have a way of influencing peoples decisions.

    With these few implementations upon yourself, you will see a change in your life and in your relationships and you will begin to be an inspiration to others who will want to be like you. The greatest change starts with ourselves, and then we in turn change our environment.
