'Oh Allah ! I am firm, make me polite, I am weak make me strong. Ya! the arabians are rebellious camels whose bridle is in my hand, but i would take them on the right path.'
These are those golden words which were spoken by the great caliph when he was taking the oath for the dignity of caliph and taking fealty by the citizens. These words reflect his(rz) power of speech and his way of writing can be observed by the letter he wrote to hazrat Abu Musa Ashari(rz):
'The strength of working is that to not put your work till tomorrow if you do that than numerous work would be collected than you will be worried about which work should be done and which should be taken left, in this way nothing would be done .'
HAZRAT UMAR'S NATURE:
Hazrat Umar was fond of poetic composition, he had profound analyzation on the poets of Arab, sometimes he himself say poetry .
Hazrat Umar was the most intelligent and the person of broad opinion and deep understanding, his verification of broad opinions is enough verified that most of his opinions became islamic ordinances for example the way of conducting azan is adapted from his view.
He always listen to quran with profound and deep stance and on every ayat he pay a broad concentration as he is a religious director.
He had a great demonstration and approach over Quran .
FEATURES OF HAZRAT UMAR'S ADMINISTRATION:
When Hazrat Umar became the second caliph of muslim ummah he ruled the ummah with great generousity and courage, his system of khilafat depends upon the following factors:
1 The laws which is implemented by Allah should be implemented the most above.
2 To ensure equity and justice among everyone.
3 To ensure fraternity and brotherhood among muslims.
4 The administration is responsible for liability.
5 The implementation of shura(Forum of discussion).
6 obediency of right .
7 Desire of administration is forbidden and prohibited .
8 The presence of cause behind the state .
9 The right of spreading good and stopping evil had been fulfilled .
10 The establishment of elected khilafat .
11 The establishment of ''bait ul mal with it's true concept and vision i.e the deposited money should be utilized in the welfare of public .
12 The establishment of a state which is free of 'asbiat'. Asbiat is a dark deed which meant to stand with one's nation even they are wriong .
13 In different dealing honesty is assured.
14 Acting with great tolerance and friendship towards the weak state.
15 The establishment of check and balance over government .
VICTORIES DURING HAZRAT UMAR'S ADMINISTRATION:
During the era of Hazrat Umar(rz) most of the places of world were conquered . This includes a long list of Iraq , Iran , Egypt and Syria . This is due to the dynamic and glorious leader ship of hazrat umar (rz) which is provided by Allah that the biggest power of the world that time came under the flag of Islam, Hazrat Umar (rz) had kept a narrow eye on these battles, result in a great victory for muslims and Islam.
MARTYRDOM OF HAZRAT UMAR:
Hazrat Umar's(rz) matyrdom was very fortunate, when he was assembling tha fajr prayers, a person named Abou lou lou drove a dagger in to his body , Hazrat Umar(rz) was injured and this injury take the token of his life.
AN ADMIRABLE CHARACTER:
With no doubt , Hazrat Umar(rz) is not only a great hero of islam but also for the whole world . He implemented the true concept and vision of islam as he had taken the oath . He established the sovereignty of islamic laws not the rules of people. He is a remarkable character and an ideal personality. Muslim ummah should place him as their ideal to build a high character and to rule the world.
